BoConcept introduces the new Ø lounge chair – an “island retreat” for the home.
BoConcept is excited to announce the launch of the new Ø lounge chair – a distinctive style statement, created in collaboration with Global Artistic Director Helena Christensen.
Neither a traditional sofa nor a typical living chair, the Ø lounge chair blends the best of both worlds, offering the comfort of a sofa with the intimacy of a chair. The result is a cosy, oversized piece that’s a standalone sanctuary.

Inspired by the serene beauty of Denmark’s small islands, Ø offers a deep, cocoon-like experience designed for enveloping comfort.
“I like the symbol ‘Ø’”, says Helena. “I was born on an island and find them so magical because they’re surrounded by water. Our lounge chair is like a cosy little island in your home.”
A sensory experience
With an oversized silhouette that blends sculptural aesthetics and soft minimalism, it challenges conventional forms to create something truly ekstraordinær. Launching with the new, richly textured Lucca fabric, exclusively designed by Helena for BoConcept, the chair provides a deeply sensory and restorative experience.
From its enveloping form to its inviting textures, the Ø lounge chair speaks to the growing global desire for sensory, tactile experiences. It stands out not only in design but in emotion – creating furniture that nurtures both the body and the spirit.

When asked how important a cozy place to retreat in your home is, Helena said:
“It’s the most important thing for me. My decoration philosophy is to have somewhere to curl up with a book or a cup of tea in as many places as possible in your home. With its oversized, welcoming form and three soft back cushions, Ø invites relaxation, book reading, music listening, dog cuddling..”
