Located near Melbourne in Canterbury, Victoria, this contemporary residence embraces a predominantly white interior, where burgundy accents and natural materials introduce warmth, contrast and character. The result is a refined space that feels both bright and inviting.

The project brings together BoConcept’s contemporary Danish designs with a carefully considered palette of white, stone grey and rich burgundy. Dark oak elements introduce a natural warmth throughout the home, creating a cohesive connection between the living, dining and kitchen spaces while complementing the home’s clean architectural aesthetic.

In the living area, the Bergamo 3-Seater Sofa in White Lazio provides a bright, inviting foundation, complemented by the Santiago Coffee Table in ash grey ceramic and dark oak veneer. The Bermuda 76 Footstool in light grey leather and Simple Hand Loom Rug in stone grey introduce subtle layers of texture, while the Santiago Sideboard and Amass Vase add functionality and decorative detail.

The dining and kitchen spaces introduce richer contrasts, with the Santiago Dining Table in dark oak veneer paired with Hamilton Dining Chairs upholstered in burgundy Nordic Vintage leather. Nearby, Hauge Barstools in taupe Nordic Grain leather extend the natural material palette into the kitchen, creating continuity between the adjoining spaces.

Throughout this Melbourne home, the interplay of crisp whites, burgundy accents and natural dark oak creates a balanced and distinctive interior. By introducing warmth through carefully selected materials and furniture, the project demonstrates how contemporary Danish design can complement a bright, minimalist home while adding depth, texture and personality.
