Scandic Living

Caringbah Interior Design Project

Project Brief

Set within a relaxed Caringbah home, Yan from BoConcept Castle Hill worked with the client to build a warm, grounded interior that balances comfort with quiet sophistication.

The brief centred on a cohesive palette of cream, sand and chocolate brown, layered across living and dining spaces to create a sense of continuity and calm. Various natural elements like florals and potted native plants give a more grounded feeling to the home, with contrasting shades of blue as accent pieces in each of the living rooms. Tactile fabrics and natural materials like oak and ceramic take precedence throughout the whole home in each piece, with texture doing much of the design work.

Carefully selected pieces including the Osaka sofa, Bolzano armchair, Madrid coffee table, Amsterdam sofa, Tilburg recliner, Kingston dining table, Princeton chairs, and Fermo and Santiago sideboards bring cohesion and character without competing for attention. Each piece was carefully selected and organized into respective spaces in each room they inhabit.

The result is a composed, liveable home that feels warm from the moment you walk in.
